TPG A758 Minidriver Installation File for Windows NT 4.0

1. Unzip the file *.ZIP file to a directory. Preserve the directory
structure of the zipped files. Five files constitute the driver:
    A758.DLL, OEMSETUP.INF, I386\RASDD.DL_, I386\RASDD.HL_, and
    I386\RASDDUI.DL_.
2. Install this driver by double clicking on 'Add Printer' from the
    Printers folder.
3. Advance to the installation wizard screen that shows a list of
Manufacturers and a list of Printers. Click the 'Have Disk' button.
4. Fill in the path to the files you created in Step 1 in the box
below the caption 'Copy manufacturer's files from:' and hit return.
5. Choose 'TPG A758', 'TPG A758 CD#1', 'TPG CD#2' or
'TPG COMP'. The 2nd and 3rd versions generate a pulse to cash
drawer 1 or 2, respectively, after each document; and the 4th
version does not send the reset (0x1B 0x40) command at the start
    of every document.

Note #1: This installation only supports the impact slip print station.
You have to also install the TPG A794 thermal receipt printer
driver to print to the receipt station.

Note #2: If you attempt to print a test page, it won't look too good. If
you get anything recognizable, take it as a sign that the
          installation was a success.

Note #3: The A758 driver contains a special "Control" font that has some
of its characters mapped onto particular commands, as follows:

          'A' - Hex 41 - Dec 65 - Open cash drawer 1
          'B' - Hex 42 - Dec 66 - Open cash drawer 2
          'C' - Hex 43 - Dec 67 - 0x00 (null)
          'D' - Hex 44 - Dec 68 - 0x00 (null)
          'E' - Hex 45 - Dec 69 - Feed paper 3/4 inch
          'F' - Hex 46 - Dec 70 - Feed paper 1/2 inch
          'G' - Hex 47 - Dec 71 - Beep
          'H' - Hex 48 - Dec 72 - 0x00 (null)
          'I' - Hex 49 - Dec 73 - Reverse paper feed 1/2 inch

These characters work best placed on a separate line. They
will occupy the same amount of vertical space as a visible
character. This height has been taken into account in the
          feed commands (E, F and I).

Exceptions

In Windows NT, barcodes must be preceded by a '!' and followed by a '#'
to print correctly. The '!' and '#' will not print as part of the
barcode data, but are needed by the minidriver to build the barcode
command that gets sent to the printer. The '!' and '#' must be in the
same font and size as the barcode you wish to print.
